Hello and Welcome!

Monique Johnson is an ordained pastor, author, and global missionary with over 30 years of ministry experience dedicated to raising leaders and mobilizing believers to impact the nations. Her missions journey began in 1997 while serving across seven of the nine provinces of South Africa. Since then, Monique has ministered throughout the United States, Central America, and South America training and equipping leaders, children, and youth to step confidently into their God-given assignments.

A resident of Charlotte, North Carolina and a native of Prince George’s County, Maryland, Monique serves as the Executive Director of A Fresh Start CLT, Inc., a nonprofit organization providing recovery and holistic counseling for survivors of human trafficking and their children. Her passion is to help survivors break cycles of abuse and addiction so families can grow, heal, and thrive together.

Monique is also the founder of In the Midst of Ministries, a ministry devoted to helping people hear the voice of God and encounter His presence in every season of life. She is the author of the book series Hearing the Voice of God in the Midst of Grief, Chaos, and Seasons, along with several children’s books written in both English and Spanish.

As an international foster mom to 19 girls from Central and South America, Monique lives out the message she shares faith in action. Inspired by Isaiah 42:6, her mission is simple: to remind every believer that they are called, chosen, and commissioned to be a light to the nations.
